Alaska
Steel Company, located on 7.5 acres in Anchorage, is a full
line steel and aluminum distributor with a rebar fabrication
division on site. In addition, we have branches in Kenai
and Fairbanks along with five distributors throughout the
state. Our 40,000 sqft warehouse with accompanying railsiding,
along with our strong domestic and international mill relationships,
and our ability to move large and small amounts of freight-
cost effectively- allows us to provide our customers with
the widest range of competitively priced metals in Alaska.
Our
seasoned sales staff and purchasing department has years
of arctic weather experience and technical knowledge that
is required to handle projects in Alaska. This coupled with
a broad range of inventory has allowed Alaska Steel to build
long-term relationships with companies in key segments of
the Alaska market. These areas include oil & gas, mining,
commercial building and fishing.
